IM-Production is a Berlin-based event production company connecting creative intent with technical planning and project delivery. The work spans conferences, automotive reveals, brand activations and live experiences, with projects available worldwide.
Founder
A production perspective, from the floor up
My background spans rigging, video, audio, lighting, staging and exhibition construction. That experience shapes how I approach project management: understand the dependencies, ask the practical questions early and make sure the people delivering the work have a plan they can use.
The selected projects on this site document my roles in event project management and production. They include corporate events in Berlin, brand activations in Munich, consecutive productions in Copenhagen and Berlin, and senior production work in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The scale changes. The responsibility stays concrete: know what needs to happen, who owns it and what the next decision affects.
Approach
Why IM-Production
I am drawn to projects where the creative and technical sides need each other. A structure that also becomes the design. A room that changes function during the event. A complicated venue that calls for a different way to build.
The thinking behind IM-Production is influenced by ikigai: finding purpose where the work you value meets the skills you can contribute. In practice, that means taking satisfaction in useful, well-considered production work and the shared experience it makes possible.
Principles
How we work together
Make responsibilities visible.
A supplier, a venue and a client may read the same brief differently. We clarify the boundaries before they become gaps.
Explain the trade-offs.
Design, time and budget affect each other. Decisions are easier when the consequences are clear.
Stay close to the production.
Plans need to reflect the actual venue, suppliers and build conditions, then stay current as those conditions change.
Berlin / Worldwide
Berlin is the base. The brief sets the destination.
IM-Production is available for work in Berlin, across Germany and internationally. The team structure, travel and local supplier responsibilities are agreed for each project.
