1. Controller

2. Summary

This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, advertising tools or embedded third-party content. Our hosting provider creates anonymous visitor statistics from the server log files (see section 4). Fonts, images and scripts are delivered from our own web space. The contact form does not send data to our server; it prepares an email in your own email application.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit the website, the web server automatically records information that your browser transmits (server log files):

  • IP address
  • date and time of the request
  • the requested page or file
  • the referring URL, if transmitted
  • browser type and operating system
  • HTTP status code and amount of data transferred

Purpose: delivering the website and keeping it secure and technically stable, for example to detect and prevent attacks.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable provision of this website.

Processor: IONOS SE processes this data on our behalf. We have concluded a data processing agreement with IONOS SE in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Storage: log data is stored only as long as it is needed for these purposes and is then deleted or anonymised automatically.

4. Visitor statistics (IONOS WebAnalytics)

Our hosting provider IONOS SE evaluates the server log files to produce anonymous visitor statistics (IONOS WebAnalytics). They show us, for example, how many visits the website receives, which pages are viewed, which websites visitors come from and which browsers and operating systems are used.

WebAnalytics does not use cookies. Your IP address is anonymised immediately after transmission, so the statistics do not identify individual visitors.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in understanding how the website is used and improving it.

Processor: IONOS SE carries out this evaluation on our behalf under the data processing agreement mentioned in section 3.

5. Encryption

This website uses TLS encryption (HTTPS) to protect data in transit between your browser and our server.

6. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or phone, or prepare an enquiry with the contact form, we process the details you provide – typically your name, email address, company, event details and message – to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare an offer.

The contact form works without a connection to our server. When you select “Prepare email enquiry”, your email application opens a draft containing your entries. Nothing is transmitted to us until you send that email yourself.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Storage: we delete enquiry data once the enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Business correspondence, for example, may have to be kept for six or ten years under the German Commercial Code (HGB) and Fiscal Code (AO).

Our mailbox is also hosted by IONOS SE, which stores emails on our behalf under the data processing agreement mentioned in section 3.

7. Recipients

We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. Recipients are limited to the service providers named in this notice, who act on our instructions, and to public authorities where we are legally obliged to disclose data.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • have inaccurate data rectified (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

Right to object: where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is: Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.

9. Providing your data

You are not obliged to provide personal data. Without contact details, however, we cannot answer your enquiry. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).

10. Changes to this notice

We update this notice when the website or our processing changes. Version: September 2026.
