Build the place where the event can happen
Jordan Fam Fest brought together three industrial halls and an outdoor site with basketball, a custom skatepark, sneaker displays and live performance areas. Delivering the programme meant coordinating the infrastructure beneath it: site operations, supplier activity, visitor movement and the requirements of local stakeholders.
The Senior Producer role described in the project documentation focused on that overall event infrastructure and the coordination needed to bring its separate parts together.
A second brief arrived with two weeks to go
A drone show over the Bay added another production workstream. Potential launch locations, land access, weather contingencies and the requirements of the specialist drone operation had to be considered alongside the main event.
Several launch options remained in planning while conditions and permissions were resolved. The production task was to coordinate those dependencies with the relevant partners, while keeping the event site moving towards delivery.
What the approach made possible
The event combined indoor and outdoor experiences, while the drone display created a Jumpman image against the Bay Bridge setting. The production story is the simultaneous coordination behind those different parts of the audience experience.
Production takeaway
A late addition does not arrive in isolation. It needs its own responsibilities, dependencies and contingency decisions inside the wider plan.
