The venue stayed. The requirements changed.
Snowflake World Tour and SAP Connect used the same venue in close succession. Both required main stages, breakout areas and partner exhibition space, but each had its own brand language and operational requirements.
The internal production team needed to prepare for the second event while delivering the first. That meant managing separate planning conversations within one connected venue schedule.
Plan the changeover around real dependencies
The production separated infrastructure that could remain from elements that needed to change. Rigging provisions and parts of the audio setup could support both events, while scenic treatments, lighting and video arrangements followed their respective briefs.
Supplier access and work windows had to reflect that sequence. Catering arrangements, security zoning and accreditation also needed distinct planning for each event, even where the wider venue infrastructure was shared.
What the approach made possible
The venue supported two different conference environments in succession. The production plan connected the physical transformation with the separate client decisions and supplier activities required to deliver it.
Production takeaway
A changeover is a production in its own right. It needs a scope, a schedule and clear ownership between the events on either side.
