  • Two locations, one tightly connected production plan

The Nike activations in Copenhagen and Berlin followed each other with little separation in the production schedule. Both combined scaffold structures, translucent red mesh, lighting and custom display elements for retail, workshops and product presentation.

The industrial design needed a coordinated build. The logistics needed to establish which elements could serve both locations and which had to be available simultaneously.

  • Decide what travels and what needs a second set

Some custom materials were produced in duplicate to avoid making the second build dependent on their arrival. Other equipment and larger elements travelled directly from the Copenhagen breakdown to Berlin on an overnight transfer.

That decision affected far more than transport. Items needed clear identification, loading had to match the next build sequence, and the teams in both countries needed schedules that accounted for the same equipment.

  • What the approach made possible

The two activations carried a consistent design approach across different venues. A combination of duplicated materials and transferred equipment connected the productions while addressing their different timing needs.

Production takeaway

On consecutive international events, the first load-out is already part of the next load-in.
